Our Indonesian Feast Rijsttafel is a unique Tumpeng feast meal that is also known as the dish that connects the diversity of the various Indonesian culinary traditions in a special way. In this rijsttafel , we use a carefully composed selection of seven specialities, with each dish presented around a beautiful Tumpeng shape. Tumpeng is also a symbol of gratitude. According to tradition in Java and Bali, the cone-shaped Tumpeng represents the life and glory of God as the creator of nature. The side dishes and vegetables symbolise life and harmony in nature. In this way, the meal reflects not only the rich Indonesian cuisine, but also the deep cultural meaning behind it.
